Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash Takes Leadership to Bangladesh Awami Jubo League to Bring Hope

Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash also known as Parash has become the new chairman of Jubo League, the youth wing of Awami League.  Party leaders hope that under the new leadership of Sheikh Parash, Jubo League will develop its image and regain the past glory.

Educational & Professional Background
Sheikh Parash completed his Master’s degree in English from the University Dhaka (DU) and another master’s from Colorado State University (USA). He served as a faculty (English) at East West University after working at BRAC University (Bangladesh) for a long time.

Political background
Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash is the eldest son of Jubo League founder Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni (Moni is the nephew of Bangabandhu, the founding father of Bangladesh). Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) & an Ex-MP (lawmaker) is his younger brother. Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, a powerful MP & and a former chairman of Jubo League is their uncle. Parash’s aunt, Sheikh Hasina is the president of the Bangladesh Awami League and the longest-serving prime minister in the history of Bangladesh. However, as an academician, Parash had never been active in political activities in the past. It is considered by many as a fresh start for Bangladesh Awami Jubo League after huge image crisis due to the controversies of casino business and corruption.
