Government Initiatives to Promote Digital Bangladesh

Bangladesh Govt. Initiatives to Promote eGovernance
The present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken many bold initiatives to digitalize Bangladesh. Several ministries, departments, other government and non-governmental organizations are implementing e-governance system in the country.

BHTPA: Bangladesh Hi-tech Park Authority is an agency by Bangladesh government to build, manage and run technology parks throughout the country. Some projects include:

Sheikh Hasina Software Technology Park in Jessore.
Software Technology Park (STP) at Janata Tower, Dhaka.


Ongoing

Kaliakoir Hi-Tech Park (KHTP), now known as Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City (BHTC) in Gazipur District.
Sylhet Electronic City in Companiganj Upazila, Sylhet.
